1. Who we are and acceptance
Rerise is provided by Vianney Le Masson (“we,” “us,” or “Rerise”), the developer identified on the App Store. Contact us at support@tryrerise.app. By downloading, accessing, or using Rerise, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and account
Rerise is designed for adults aged 18 or older. You agree to provide accurate information when you choose to provide it and to keep your device and App Store account secure. Rerise currently does not require a separate account to use its core features.
3. Wellbeing information
Rerise provides self-guided educational and wellbeing tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or treatment, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional. No particular outcome is promised. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Some app features may require a paid subscription. The price, billing period, trial terms (if offered), and renewal details are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm. Apple charges your App Store account and manages payment and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, where Apple’s subscription terms apply. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Refund requests are handled under Apple’s policies.
We may change available plans or prices prospectively, subject to applicable law and the notice or consent required by Apple and local law.
5. Acceptable use and community
You may use the service for your personal, non-commercial wellbeing. Do not use Rerise to break the law, harm or harass another person, post unlawful or abusive material, share another person’s personal information, interfere with the service, or attempt to access systems without authorization.
The community is optional and text only. Your first name appears with your posts, and posts are visible to other community members. By posting you agree to follow our community guidelines, which include: no explicit content, no medical advice, and no shaming. You are responsible for the content you submit and should avoid posting identifying, intimate, or confidential information.
Anyone can report a post or block a member. We may hide or remove content, restrict access, or suspend a feature when reasonably needed to protect users, enforce these terms or the community guidelines, comply with law, or maintain service security. The community does not provide professional counseling or emergency monitoring.
6. Your content and intellectual property
You retain rights in content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, display, transmit, and moderate community content only as needed to operate the community feature and provide related notifications. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to copies retained in backups or as required by law.
The Rerise app, website, design, text, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the service except where the law allows or we authorize it.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Rerise to maintain or improve the service, address security or legal needs, or respond to circumstances outside our control. We will provide notice where required by law. Updates to these terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply to your future use, subject to any consent required by law.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those limits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
9. Governing law and consumer rights
These terms are subject to the laws that apply to your use of Rerise, including mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
